Re: Desktop AVI file does not play on Imate 5.0 devices

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

You may be out of options then. As Werner pointed out, the CODEC
isn't natively supported by Windows Mobile or many other 3rd party
applications.

You may want to post over in the microsoft.public.pocketpc.developer
group to see if anyone there has another work around.

As has been explained in several articles on my blog, very few PPC players
are capable of playing M-JPEG. Give TCPMP a try.

Hello,
I have a desktop recorded AVI file. This file when converted into
Motion JPEG AVI plays on XDA O2 but does not play in Imate Jasjar or
Imate SP5m both Windows CE 5.0 devices. Why?
Please could anybody help me.

========
I am aware of TCPMP. But then i am developing an application in which i
need to render files through my code. I am using IGraphBuilder
interface for doing the same so i cannot use any third party
applications.
