Google is one of the few sites that reads the device "user agent" strings and, for the pocket pc, only displays maps and does so with a single image unlike the pc version that "tiles" all of the map displays.
agaik, there is no option to display google sat images although you might try spoofing an ie7 pc user agent string and see what happens.
In addition, assume that the pc version also makes use of extensive java which will also hinder such displays.
