Well I reinstalled it last night in main memory with newsgroups being stored on my CF card and the problems I have been having with this program continued. It continues to 'hang' when I try to access some RSS news. As a matter of fact I had responded to this posting but the program would not connect wirelessly to send the message -- even though it had no trouble downloading.
I have since deinstalled it and have had enough. I guess I will have to limit my usenet and RSS reading to the laptop from now on.
i just wished that there was an alternative out there that can do both. I would be satisfied now if there was one competent USENET newsreader out there that would work on my Axim X51v / WM5. I have tried Ilium Software Newsbreak and while it is only an RSS reader, it does what it does well and solidly as well. Besides, it can even search the Internet for feeds.
If only I could convince the folks at JetBrains to make an Omea Reader for PPC (http://www.jetbrains.com/omea/reader/), I would be very happy. I would likely register it on the spot! This is one slick piece of software.
Regards,
Wayne Moses
