It may be because they switch to https (and, then, back) upon the first
login - at least this is the case with Yahoo. I'm absolutely sure the
problem is with the COnnectivity framework (that is, it thinks it has a
HTTPS (webmail) and Socks (MSN Messenger) proxy even if it doesn't display
it) and
Try backing up the badly behaving PDA, hard reset and see wwhether, then,
you're able to connect.

Thanks for that, but it is not using a proxy. It connects to normal site,
such as Google or MSN or Yahoo, and so on, but it just won't let me get
into any of these three web based mail accounts

Check whether the one that isn't able to connect to MSN/ to Web pages has
a proxy defined. If yes (I'm pretty sure that's the case), just don't let
it use a proxy.

Hi
I have two Ipaq 2210's, and can connect to the internet with both of
them, however, only one can get to web based mail pages, or microsoft
messenger. I have checked the o/s and they are the same, as is the
firmware. There is no differences that I can see.
Am I missing something here ???
