SO WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED WITH THE ACTIVESYNC TEAM?!?

where are you??? all i can find for reason to disable network syncing
over activesync to regular pcs (not exchange) is "security" reasons.
somebody please tell me if im just all wrong on this and there is more
of a security risk here than a bunch of open TCP ports... (never mind
that server products also have the necessity to keep open ports like
activesync would need this feature.)

if thats all it is, ok then fine.. its a security risk. SO LET ME
DECIDE WHETHER I WANNA TAKE THAT RISK!! how many times have i seen
dialog boxes along the lines of "Only proceed if you understand the
risks involved."

Obviously you are not in the lowest common corporate denominator that Microsoft was attempting to placate in this rather pitiful decision to remove wireless sync from AS... :)

MS give us back the option to decide the way we want our applications to communicate.
