Re: WM 5.0 No more WiFi Sync :(

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Unfortunately not at the present.

Not always one customer's needs is all customers needs (this regards your
following post).

The fact is that Microsoft was hardly criticized by analysts and many
important corporate customers regarding some security issues in Desktop
Wireless Activesync. For this reason, they decided to remove this feature so
that corporate customers can adopt the devices without fear.

I hope that one day they find the right way to restore the Wifi desktop
sync. I know that for many users it was a very important feature. For me it
is already too late: I have already made progress to Exchange Server sync.

Hi,

I have recently bought the new PPC with WM 5.0. WM 5.0 looks fine but
there's a really annoying feature...

When doing remote sync, Server side is synced as expected, but it's not
possible to remotelly sync with desktop PC. Meaning that there's no
possibility to sync files or notes...

Is there any fix for that 'feature' ?

Thanks!
/Denis
