Geez Clinton...I went to your site to read the review and immediately went
to Ilium to download a trial and thought initially I had gone to heaven.
Then, to my surprise I realized that unless I've missed something, there's
no way to actually get entire articles without being connected to the net?
As this seems to fly in the face of the whole reason I carry a POCKET PC,
I'm thinking I've missed something in the setup. Surely there's a way to
download articles rather than just snippets?

If you are reading news and information, you may want to look at an RSS
feed application. I've been using RSS for about a year now and haven't
looked back at Avantgo personally.

I use NewsBreak from Ilium (http://www.iliumsoft.com). It isn't free but
there is a 30 day demo available. I'm sure if you went to
PocketPCFreeware.com you could find one free there as well - I just don't
have any personal experience.

You can read a review of NewsBreak on my site at

may tell you straight away if this is what you are looking for.
