You may want to flush your WinCE databases into non-volatile ROM before soft
resetting. To do this, just shut down your PDA completely. On most PDA's,
you can do this by long-pressing the Power button. On devices like the x51v,
you need to configure it explicitly to allow for this - instead of just
dimming the screen. This can be seen in here:

What I am trying to do is, running my old application (developed for
windows ce 4.2 in eVC 4.0) in windows ce 5.0. Everything is running
fine. I just have a problem with database side operations. When i reset
the device, my database gets erased.

Anybody having any experience.. ?
