Congrats. It's running WM2003SE BTW.

1) It would be helpful if you indicated what you wanted to do that the built
in software doesn't cover. For a pdf viewer for free, visit Adobe. They make
a free one. Lots of good freeware sites, just google for PPC freeware. The
commercial sites Handango and Pocketgear do have some freeware available as
well. You could also try some web sites like PocketPCThoughts and AximSite
for suggestions if you have specific needs.

2) There are third party add-ins to PIE that can give you that capability.
SPB PocketPlus is one. Pictures at least. Not free but a great suite of
enhancements.

3) Not sure there is anything that will let you make free calls to
landlines, but there are VoIP systems that will let you make calls to other
internet users. One is Skype. Most require the other end to run the same
app. Most do offer an offnet feature that will let you dial a regular phone
for a minimal fee, compared to a long distance call.
