Have you looked under the \program files\Activesync\ directory to see if the
associated install files (*.cab) are there. Or occassionaly the files get
placed in a directory straight under program files . Either way, deleting
them from there might work.

My XV6600 (WM 2003 SE) decided to do a hard reset when I removed the
battery and reinserted it. I did a restore from ActiveSync and have just
about got everything reinstalled.
When I ran the self-extracting executable (psc_v1-0.exe) for Pocket
Screen Capture, it cheerfully announced that it would be installed on
the next sync, but that hasn't happened. Every time I reconnect the
device, the Add/Remove Programs applet comes up on the laptop, but
Pocket Screen Capture does not appear in the list. I have searched the
PPC for any psc* and Pocket Screen* files. The app does not appear on
the list of programs on the device. I have tried re-running the
self-extracting executable on the laptop. It continues to tell me it
will be installed on the next sync.
I successfully installed and used Pocket Screen Capture on this device
before the hard reset.
Any ideas?
