Re: battery chargers

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

One thing you might consider is something like
http://www.socketcom.com/product/AC4009-614.asp It should be able to
re-charge your PPC 3-5 times between finding AC. I would also strongly
suggest finding a WM5 device to take with you as it will not reset itself to
factory defaults should you run out of power.

You might also consider DC/AC inverters such as found at
http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-25.html or
http://www.voltageconverters.com/inverters_110v.html for vehicle use. They
have both 12v and 24v models. You can find 12v ones at your local auto parts
store or Wal-Mart even I believe. 24v might be a little tougher, and
anything that supports both 12 and 24v will likely cost you.

You might be surprised too. When you get to Thailand check some of the
electronics stores. Wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't pick up a car
charger or two that would work for your iPAQ.
