bluetooth synching is not working for me

I been trying to get my device to sync wireless with my xp desktop and it
does not seem to be happening. I have can do the obex and they are paired;
but activesync is not detecting. It used to work when I used the home
edition of xp but I have a hunch that it xp pro is challenging.

I followed this article but didn't work.

I like I said it wasn't this blue in the past.

any tricks to make it work.
