Hi,
I got a HP Ipaq 6315. When I ping other wireless devices in my house I usually get a 1.5 ms response time. Now, when I ping my Ipaq it is a whole different story. Then the response time fluctuating like crazy. The average is around 350 ms, but could go as high as 500 ms.
Now what is causing this? Is the Ipaq CPU power so low that it can't even respond to a ping in a good way? Or is there something funky going on with the wireless network adapter?
Thanks,

Benchmarking can be interesting...but what OPERATIONAL PROBLEM are you trying to solve?
My Symbol card has the ability to set the power save mode. It acts like
it's going to sleep for a programmable amount of time...which might explain what you're seeing.
