Take a look at Cabinstall (see http://BevHoward.com/bhhpj.htm#Cabs) and use it to reinstall version 1.0 on a memory card... as bloated as it is, it runs well on a 32meg 133mhz Jornada 548 installed on the memory card.

I think I installed version 2 on my axim x5. The screen was so small that I couldn't make much use of it. Had to scroll in both directions.

I know about reflow, but since I don't use ActiveSync, that doesn't
work for me.

But I digress...

I think I'm confused. If the Adobe source is on a memory card at the conference, I have to stick it in my PDA to install it. But I had to remove the memory I need to install it on. Unless I have two memory card slots, or sufficient free internal memory, I can't use a flash card to install it. Not to mention that I'd not be wanting to stick a public
flash card in my PDA. No telling what diseases I might contract.
Wouldn't take more than some malicious snot to damage my flash card socket...double meaning intended.

Unfortunately, PDF is a fact of life, although I agree with mike that it is a hostile format, best used when the generator wants to assure that the content will be held at arm's length (i.e. uneditable) from the end user.
