Re Birthdays in Window's PocketPC2003

Short question...

Can anyone explain why you get duplicate Birthday/Anniversary reminders when
they are only input as a "New Appointment" once?

Sometimes when you run Activesync, it detects these duplicates. I always
delete all duplicates, but then later, they are back again.

I have no other software installed on my PocketPC (HPIpaqRX3715) other than
what was preinstalled when I purchased it.

Many thanks in advance,

Alex
