I believe that the SD slot on their first TMobile PPC-PE phone (XDA) was not SDIO which is is required for using a wifi card.

Is it an XDA? please post the exact model to confirm

might look at the pda2k which has both wifi and bluetooth built in plus a keyboard... very nice unit.

With respect to newsgroup searches, use google groups which does a great job of searchin all posts here going back years.
