It depends. There are a number of variables which can affect this-
Actual unformatted capacity (1Gb can be 1000000 bytes rather than
1048576bytes (1024*1024) etc) and the format type chosen (FAT16, FAT
32, Custom- You can get some control by reducing directory entries for
example).
