Messaging no longer works

For some unknown reason, I am no longer able to receive or
send emails using messaging on my Dell Axim, pocket pc.
It has worked for months, and all of a sudden, it stopped
working. No clue as to why. When trying to connect it
finally displays a screen to enter my user id and
password, and then displays the message "message cannot be
downloaded to your moble device. Make sure you are
connected and that you e-mail account settings are
correct. I have and nothing seems to work.

Has anyone seen this error and know how to correct? Any
help would be greatly appreciated!!!
