Any chance you have ActiveSync on the device configured to try and access a server? Look at this
page for the pertinent windows on the PocketPC to disable this...See the "Configure the PocketPC
ActiveSync client" section and the "Server synchronization" window...

Another possible cause is you setup an "Inbox service" (or "Inbox account on WM2003 OS devices) on
your PocketPC to access a POP3 mail server via the internet at some interval. Check the "Options
(1/3)" page and make sure its not set to automatically try and connect to the email server every so
often...
