VPN and IE

I need to access a corporate site using IE. I can connect to the VPN
without problems and can connect to the internert and use IE without
problem. But when I connect via VPN to my company and open IE to access the
internal site, the VPN disconnects automatically. How can I browse internal
web sites via VPN?
