Nope. Most USB devices are either Host or Client, and you can connect a
Client to a Host but not two Clients together, nobody in charge. PCs are
Hosts, and most things that are designed to hook to them are clients,
including scanners, cell phones, keyboards, PPCs, Smartphones, etc....
There are a couple of PPCs that actually have host capabilities which let
them 'host' keyboards, USB drives, etc. but those are fairly unique, and I
don't believe there are any Smartphones with that feature.
