Interesting ...

Will have to do a bit more research with me dad's Tomtom. Think we
should have given it back to them anyway last year asking for a
completely new package. The latest issue with me dad's one is that the
big map (100Mb) doesn't work on it. It's not the software or the
memory card. Could it be a limitation on the HP 1940 ? The big map is
fine on my 4150. Things tried :

Different memory cards - 128Mb started, 512Mb new, 512Mb alternate.
(the 512's are Kingston SD cards)
Using the memory card and map from my 4150. (soft resetting between
each swap of card)

Works on the 4150 but not on the 1940 :-( But the 60odd Mb one works.
(It now has the North 60oddMb map and the South 60odd Mb map
installed). Ah well - you live and learn ... And one thing I've
learned is to check newsgroups before parting with money :-) Trouble
with me dad's one is that it's a bit too long now since it got bought
(Xmas pressie last year - was cause of much hair tearing! - he got the
Ipaq combo, I got a digital camera - it was a cheaper Xmas this year)

Just wondering now which cd's I want to convert to MP3's to let me
fill up that 512Mb SD card ... (380Mb hole on there at moment)
