Out of curiosity, what is this large file? My guess is that it is a video?
The rx3715 has a ROM update available at HP
(http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/HandheldiPAQ/us/download/22279.html
) that adds Media Player 10 and other stuff, in case yours didn't come with
it already on there. Paired with MP10 on the desktop, it really enhances
your ability to work with media file transfers. I had no problem getting a
260M movie transferred to a 4G CF card in my X50 this way. You might look
at the update, before you get your device too personalized, since a ROM
update puts you back to out-of-the-box fresh.
