Bought any lumber recently? Did you measure the 2x4 when you go home? Darn
thing is 3.5 x 1.75", the bastids. How many square feet are in your house?
Bet they are counting all that space taken up by walls. It's just the way
the industry has always counted memory, and then there is the formatting on
top of it. Kind of like walls in your house, they take up space, but are
pretty important in making what's left usable. Find another cause to be
indignant about. This one isn't worth the ulcer.
