I think it's more like 128M of ROM, a portion of it is used for the OS and
included apps. You do wind up with significantly more Buil-In Storage,
though. With the X30 you get about 30M for your use. There is not that
much difference in what you can install to the BiS or an SD card, you just
get more room and can install more stuff on the X50.
What it allows you to do is keep your SD cards purely for storage, so you
don't haveto worry about what program is on what card if you want to swap
pictures, movies, books, music SD's in at out at will.
With the X50, you could concievably load all the apps that will load into
ROM into ROM, leave the SD slot for just data laden Flash and the CF for
peripherals. For example, I can load a CF camera app into the ROM, have the
camera in the CF slot and store the photos on the SD.
