The manuals for pocket PC's *specifically state* that you shouldn't
ever clean the screen with any solvents, and to use only mild soapy
water.

The 'plastic layer' is your touch screen, if you "peel it off" you'll
have an expensive paper weight with some nice shiny buttons.

I guess you're one of the people who never reads manuals ;-))
