I have done this in the past and it was pretty simple to setup. I used an
MSI USB dongle. Simply install the software on your desktop, reboot and then
plug in the bluetooth dongle. You will need to do a small bit of config on
your PC but it is straightforward. Use ICS to share your Internet connection
with the bluetooth connection. The iPAQ should find the network and you will
need to associate the two devices (simply enter the same 'password' into
each device).

However, my bluetooth connection was a bit of a bugger at the best of times.
The connection would be dropped randomly, the transfer rate was not brill
and the range was pretty crap - I could not connect to the PC with a couple
of walls in the way. It was for all of these reasons that I went Wi-Fi - now
I can sit in my garden surfing the web at good connection speeds and no drop
outs what so-ever.

Bluetooth is a good way to start looking into wireless but Wi-Fi has much
more to offer.

Glenn
