tedd,
just called HP, and they said that the best they would do is a repair and
not a replacement. is that what they did with you? im not sure if id like my
brand new ipaq "repaired" - but then if it means a good screen it should be
worth it.
the retailer as i mentioned is online, and reckons that if i ask them for a
replacement ill get a unit from the same batch anyway (and so with a yellow
tint). they think i should go with the HP repair (although i guess they
would).
what do you guys think? would you go for a repair (its less than a week old)
or replacement that may probably give me a unit just as yellow? maybe i
should try one replacement, and if that doesnt work out, get to HP?
Spammy.
