Here's the deal...I'm an experienced PPC user w/ an iPAQ
5555. I got the machine when I lived in Wash DC (US
Eastern time). Everything worked great.
I just moved to Oklahoma (US Central time) and of course
changed the time zone on my iPAQ. It all works great
except...my Outlook calendar reminders don't work. I set
the reminder time for the event (like I've always done!),
but when the notification time comes, no lights, no
sound, no nothing!
I have done:
1) Tried changing both the home time zone and the
visiting time zone
2) Triple checked that all the right notification buttons
were functioning
3) ...and yes, I even checked the volume.
Here's the kicker, though:
When I change the time back to US Eastern, all
notification reminders work just fine (sound and
lights)! What's the story here? It's like the PPC knows
there's a new time zone, but Outlook doesn't.
Any thoughts?
