Depending on what type of router you have it's as easy as going to the ports
or external services page as it's called on some and forwarding the ports to
the ip of your ppc. FWD is nice because they have a proxy setrup that works
thorugh nat so you don't have to open any ports on your router. I use that
proxy and have no problems connecting to fwd through my firewall and I have
no ports open, plus it's great when you have more than one sip client going.
Do you know which build of the beta you have? I konw that build 1062 works
great, it was right before they started adding stun to the mix and I've had
good luck with build 1062.
