Well, with my Socket LP-E CF+ wired Ethernet card I use the built-in NE2000 driver.
With that said, you can either setup the card to use a DHCP assigned IP address or a static IP
address. If its a static IP address then the IP is usually something in the 192.168.0.X or
192.168.1.X range, depending on your router. Use a netmask of 255.255.255.0 and a gateway address of
the router, usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, again depending on the router. As far as DNS server
addresses, I use two DNS server addresses from my ISP. You could look in the router status display
and probably get that information or run winipcfg, if your running Win Me/9X on the PC, or ipconfig
/all, if your running XP or W2K, from the command line on a PC. You might also try a DNS address of
192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (ie. the router IP address).
Do you know if the card is getting an IP from the router? Use vxIPConfig for that...

If you do get a valid IP from the router, can you ping the router and desktops? Use vxUtil for

If all of that works, then look at configuring the Connection Manager for the wired LAN...

I presume your using a straight 10BaseT cable to connect the PocketPC to the router and *NOT* a
cross-over cable...

This also presumes your using the correct driver? Is the card NE2000 compatible? If so you should be
able to use the built-in driver and not need to load a separate driver...
