Ahem - RH has around a 50% market share in Linux distributions by servers
installed. Mandrake, SuSe et al don't come anywhere close.

Who claimed it was superior? RH merely dominates the market. You can choose
the reasons why....

I merely make the point that when there is a predominant player in market
then the two can sometime be synonomous. So if I talk about a desktop PC OS
without qualification - then it is commonly assumed we are talking Windows
(as Apache when we talk of Linux webservers). Of course this could be
regarded as unfair by Apple or Xitami afficianados - but without shortcuts
and assumptions life would be very pedantic.

To get back on topic - PDA was synonomous (after Newton) with PalmOS -
despite me being an old EPOC & WinCe hand. But PocketPC has probably reached
the point where predominance has been lost.
