Re: Can't use WM6 to access network shares

Hmm, I can't get to shares on my SBS2003 either. Don't need this much so hadn't tried before. Can get to about any other share on the network. I notice that the login that asks for domain lets me put in my domain, but when it throws that screen again the domain is truncated. Wonder if someone messed up the length of that field.

Is your PPC that works a WM6?

Thanks, Sven. Tried this and get the same error. I actually use Resco to
map a drive, type in "\\server\share" and fill in the options to log in as a
different user. Then I click "Share" and immediately get taken to the same
credentials screen I would see if I tried to connect to the share using the
WM6 interface. I type in my password again and get the same error screen
about cannot find or no permissions.

This is a little frustrating since it works on my other PPC. I know I'm
entering my creds correctly, and I have all the appropriate permissions, but
it's like my login is being rejected for some reason - I just can't figure
out where it's failing.

Pick up a trial of Resco Explorer and try it using that. I think you will
find the interface and capabilities nicer in any case.
