Well there is a trick to this, sand the answer is simple once you know the
trick. Simply continue to hit OK until you reach the today screen, BEFORE
you go back and look to see if it took. The setting is not saved as soon as
you leave the page. So continue to hit OK until you reach the today screen,
soft reset your device when you hit the screen, and you should be ready to
go then.

Hi, I have AS3.8 running on a Samsung i700 PPC (Win03) and Dell Inspiron
6000
PC (Win XP) and a Sandisk WiFi card.
I've read all the advice and links in terms of how to be able to set the
card to connect through my home wireless network -- but here's my
problem:
I have My Work Network selected for "programs that automatically connect
to
a private network", and keep trying to select "This network connects to
the
internet" under Edit/Proxy Settings.
I get a click mark, but as soon as I close the window and reopen it, the
clicjkmark is gone!
I've tried both using the wireless card and soft resetting while the
window
was open and the box was checked, but neither worked.
Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried researching it but have
found
no mention of it.
Please, please let me know if anyone has any thoughts!!
