I do have exactly the same problem and have contacted HP, MSN and
posted messages on several forums. Nobody knows what's wrong and I'm
struggling with this issues for two and a half month right now.
As work around I have downloaded Agile messenger at
http://www.agilemobile.com/downloads.html and this application connects
directly with MSN, without any failure.

and I attempt to connect to MSN Messenger on my Pocket PC, it signs me out
on my laptop, but sign in on the Pocket PC still fails.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there a newer version of MSN Messenger for my
Pocket PC that fixes this?
