Re: WiFi Connectivity Problems: Access Denied

Did that... Many thanks.

The server is still spitting my password back at me. However, I was able to
connect to a shared folder on the workstation that my PDA syncs with and
browse that OK.

I still think it's a permissions issue. The workstation is on the same
domain as the server, so I can't understand it. This has got my small wild
donkey thoroughly whipped.

Regards,

For accessing local resources, you need to say that the network connects you
to "Work" and not to "The Internet" when asked.

You can change this setting by going to Start | Settings | Connection |
Network Cards and then clicking on your network to get the configuration
page.

I'm using an Imate JASJAR to connect to Intranet via WiFi.

The problem I'm having is that I can succesfully connection to the Access
Point. I know this because I can browse Intranet web sites on the
PocketPC.
However, I cannot access network resources on a File Server. Attempts to
connect to shared folder locations are refused, and Failure Audits show up
in
the Security Log, on the server, logging Bad username or password, but I
know
I am entering correct authentication details. I have also noticed that I
cannot browse external web sites. The Pocket PC invites me to change
settings
to acheive this, when I try.

I realise this has to be security-related, but anyone out there have any
ideas what's causing this?

OK. Here's the details. Pocket PC is IMate JASJAR with Windows Mobile 5.
Server is SBS 2003, Wireless Access Point is DLink 82.11g with WPA-PSK
authentication

Many thanks for someones help in advance
