Tks for info Helio.
Have tried but the result are the same!!
Came to think abt the processor used, (ARM and X-scale). Have seen PDA
programs with different versions for different processor types, but I'm on
thin ice here, do not much abt this! The MIO use a Samsung S3C2440 400MHz
processor, so I compared with the compabilitylist at www.freedominput.com
and found another pice of equipment using the same processor and using WM05
as well, namely the E-TEN G500 !
I guess that I have to contact support both at Freedom and at MIO to try to
sort this out.
Best regards,
Inge

Hmmm.... I used to have this problem as well..... it is a long time since
I have last used the keyboard (I have a Jasjar now), so I am not sure that
I remember the problem....
If I am not wrong, my problem was related to backup or to Hebrew Support.
I needed to Hard reset the device and install the driver first thing, and
then either install Hebrew support or load my device's backup. If one of
the two was done before installing the drivers, it wouldn't work.
The only thing I can suggest to you is a five-step-procedure:
1. Back-up your device securely (using some software like Sprite Backup or
Spb Backup, or Activesync's backup - the last is less recommended).
2. Hard-reset your device
3. Install the drivers
4. Re-load the backup
5. In case the drivers were not in the backup, re-install them.
This used to work for me, but as I said I don't know if your problem is
exactly the same.
Best regards,
Helio

Tks for replying.
Have tried that, everything looks fine until I hook out the "Connect"
tab; then I get the message on my device "connecting error"
Have also tried to install this one
http://freedom.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=37&nav=0,17
(Yes, I have a Norwegian layout kb)
get connected when this is installed, but as soon as I hit a hey on the
keybd, the connection is lost...
I think many of the devices listed in the compability list runs WM05, so
it must be something spesial abt MIO?

Are you sure that the driver you have installed is the driver for WM5?
Otherwise, I suggest you go to www.freedominput.com and choose one of
the drivers for WM5 from there. The Mio devices are not listed there,
but a WM05 driver from another device as the E-TEN G500 should fit well.

I have problems installing bluetooth drivers on my MITAC MIO P550 for
Freedom foldable keybd. The installation goes fine and bluetooth
connection are established between the device and kbd. BUT, as soon as
any key on kbd are pressed, the connection is gone......
MIO P550 runs Win Mobile 5, a quite straight forward vertion, I think.
Any ideas??
