First piece of advise, find out why. Read

Download some tools so we can help you better, http://Cam.com and get vxutil
or vxipconfig run those tools and you're halfway to knowing what up doc.
Try pinging other ips like 127.0.0.1 then 192.168.0.1 or another you know
exists locally. Now try to ping google.
Let us know what happens.
