It seems the wifi driver on your Acer N50 does not support WPA. You may need
to contact Acer to get newer driver, or maybe the os image as well.

I set up a Netgear wirrless router at work which works a treat.
I could access the network and the internet using my Acer N50 premium and
all was good.
I entered in the connection sesstings with WPA-PSK and the network key
And the network shows up as available
But so does someone else's network and it seems to be getting in the way
The Status indicator shows Link Status (-64dbm) and connected for a second
and then disconnected and it keeps doing this repeatedly.
any suggestions?
my second question is:
Is there a way to stop the neighbours wireless connection showing up ?
any suggestions welcome
