nice if Windows Mobile suppoted wpa2 802.11G would be nice too, there are

What is supported in that way depends on the device and drivers supplied.
For example, on my wireless network, WPA can be supported by older D-Link
wi-fi NICs I have but D-Link don't supply the necessary stuff to do that.
OTOH, Windows works with it anyway.
On my Ipaq, I don't have native wi-fi so I bought a Spectec (Pocketgear)
card and it supports WPA and WPA2. It all came with the device.
