Total Commander does ftp. <<
ftp client or server?
What I was rembering was an app that ran on a ppc as an ftp server, but
also seem to remember that it ran afoul of open source requirements and
was withdrawn.

I found VMobile NetworkBrowser on one of my disks and stuck that on my ppc.
It immediately found my LAN and allowed me access to any shared folders
which will do just fine.
You still can't access the ppc from the LAN but I'm not really bothered
about that.
I would have thought that you would be able to do all this without having to
use third party software but there you go.
Cheers
