Biggest possibility in this kind of problem is that something has got wrong
in the security.
Please try to disable WEP temporarily. Then, in Settings | Connections |
Network Cards, delete the profile of your router and let it find the network
again. See if in this situation the PocketPC manages to get the right IP
address. In case it does, re-enable it and go to Settings | Connections |
Network Card to check on your network definition why it is not working.

My iPAQ used to work fine with my old wireless router. Now I got a new
one (netgear WGR614), ipaq doesn't work any more. I keep getting IP
address 169.254.185.46
My ipaq is HP 5455. ROM Ver 1.11.19.
I do have PC which works fine with my wireless router.
I'm using WEP 64 bit
Anyidea what is missing.
