Re: Wireless IPAQ 5550



Let me try to understand:

1. The 5450 connects perfectly
2. The 5550 doesn't.
3. You have HARD-Reset the 5550 and when immediately after the Hard-Reset
the 5550 did connect.
4. After you have installed everything that was in it again (or restored a
backup), it wouldn't connect anymore.

If all the above is correct, my huntch would be that you have something
installed in the device that interferes with the WiFi drivers. In case you
have unloaded a restore to the device, there is also the possibility of a
corruption on the registry at the WiFi parameters that prevents it from
working properly.

Another option would be that you have so many things installed there that
you don't have resources to the Wifi card.

One good idea would be to hard reset again and then install programs 1 by
one and test wifi one by one on every new program installed to get to the
bottom of the question.
