Disable auto connecting of internet

Is there any way registry key or otherwise to disable auto connecting of the
internet though bluetooth?

I have my pocketpc setup to connect to the internet though my phone via
bluetooth. sometimes id rather not have it connected, but it constantly
tries to reconnect. It's probably the inbox connecting out to check the mail
which i want it to do when I have chosen to be connected.

Basically i want it to only connect to the internet when i manually tell it
to.
