Hi, some help would be appreciated here - just can't see what’s wrong.
Basically I have a Ipaq H4150, which I would like to surf, send receive
emails, and sync wirelessly through my WLAN.

In brief, the PPC finds and says it connects with the WLAN, however I am
unable to do any of the above.

My AP is connected to a basic LAN, and I have assigned it an IP Address of:
192.168.0.20
My (Desktop) PC I have assigned an IP Address of: 192.168.0.10 (This was the
only way in which I could get my networked printer working, which has an IP
Address of: 192.168.0.141, however I am thinking to have a permanent
(Desktop) IP Address and not use one obtained automatically may cause
problems with ICS when I add another PC later - but let me cross one bridge
first !!)

I have setup my WLAN on channel 6, not broadcasting SSID, with WEP of 64 bit.

On my PPC, I have updated to ROM version 1.10.03, have WLAN driver version
2.0.53 installed, and are using active sync 3.8

I have configured the wireless network connection on the PPC as follows:
Network Name,
Connects to Internet
Authentication = open
Data encryption = WEP
Ticked the key is provided for me auto box
Unticked use IEEE 802.1X NAC box

On the Network Adapters tab,
My network connects to = Internet
IPAQ WLAN wireless adapter = use server assigned IP

When I try to connect, my WLAN is shown as connected on the settings -
connections - advanced - network card - wireless screen, and you can see the
WLAN signal when clicking the 2 arrow connectivity icon at top.

At no time have I been asked to enter a password - why ?

If using the browser, I get the message "The Page you are looking for cannot
be found"
When you hit the sync icon in active sync it says "Connect" and after a
short spell of around 5 secs, returns "Not Connected"

I am thinking I must be missing some settings, or have some wrong somewhere,
but at this point I need some help.

Thanks in advance
