If you are pretty sure you have all those things right, you could try
entering static IP, Subnet mask, gateway IP, and DNS server #s. How to do
that on a 4700, you're on your own ;). You might also benefit from
vxIPconfig (which has a release and renew option for DHCP) and vxUtil, both
of which are free at www.cam.com. I still think shutting off the probable
problems and seeing what happens is faster...Assuming it works with all of
the security off of course. If not, there have been routers that don't play
nicely with PPCs, regarding DHCP handling. Often a firmware update helps
that.
