I think omnimatty was responding to your question of why he bought a PPC
without a CF slot with a self deprecating, tongue in cheek response...with a
wink at the end.

You do bring up a good point that folks should thoroughly investigate their
requirements and options. Sometimes, though, you don't realize what you need
until you miss it, and other times things you had to have, you never use.
