I have had exactly the opposite experience with the drivers... switching
to the Socket drivers not only cured several problems that were
prevelant with the Sandisk drivers, the power consumption dropped
dramatically... cut it at least 50% and probably more.
I will agree that the Sandisk gui layout was simpler and easier to
understand.
