Regarding item 1, either your provider is not allowing access from other
networks (as an anti-spam policy), or you would need to use for the outgoing
server a different username-password than those used for the incoming
server. PPC doesn't offer a solution for that in the standard inbox today,
maybe one of the commercial packages does.

Regarding item number 2, I suggest you check if your WEP settings are
exactly the same in the AP and in the PPC. It could be a small mistake in
the WEP Key, or could be some small setting like trying to use Shared-keys
while the AP is set for Open Network. I have not found any situation in
which WEP did not work with ANY card that was not connected to a slight
mistake in the definitions.
