I suggest you try to open My Computer|Tools|Folder Options|View, and check
if at the list of options there the last option (or one of them) is "Use
Simple File Sharing".

In case it is, UNCHECK THIS OPTION, since it creates a situation that the
Pocket PC is not asked for user identification for the connection, and has
the connection immediately denied. At the moment this option is unchecked,
you get the user/password window and everything begins to work.
